Entwine: The Platform
The Entwine platform is a platform that we plan to create, which would allow organizations to find other organizations to connect to, and enable them to work together for their shared goals. Below are some features we will include on it.

Org Search
The platform will allow organizations to search for other accounts through a recommendation algorithm that we create. The platform will filter and recommend organizations using a variety of factors. The platform will also potentially help volunteers find organizations or coalitions to volunteer at.
The filtering system will use a variety of factors to figure out which organizations to recommend, including:​

What the organization can already provide

Key words (in the description of the organization)​

Using these factors, a math rating will be given, allowing one organization to see a list of other similar organizations, and encouraging them to connect with these.

Coalition building
Coalitions are the way we say "strategic partnerships" here at Entwine. Coalitions are the backbone of what we do, and they are groups of organizations that work together and mutually benefit from each other. Based on the filtered results described above, organizations can partner with their matches to form coalitions. We play a crucial role in this process, exposing organizations to partners that may help. Think of us as the bridge connecting the two organizations...

Shared Activities
Coalitions can enhance their partnership by doing many shared things together. Some common ones will be doing projects together, fundraising, and figuring out ways to benefit the community as a partnership. All of these things will go on a shared coalition page, showing the world the impact that collaboration can bring. And yes, an organization can be part of multiple coalitions.

Building your name on entwine
As an organization, you'll have your own page, showing the coalitions you've been a part of, the work that you've done, and what you stand for as an organization. Volunteers and other organizations can learn more about you here as well. Through Entwine, you'll be more productive than ever before.
